BACK-TO-BACK AT MOTORLAND ARAGON, BRAND NEW ASPHALT ON TRACK!

BACK-TO-BACK AT MOTORLAND ARAGON, BRAND NEW ASPHALT ON TRACK!

WorldSBK lands at Motorland Aragon, Round 10, for the second back-to-back race of a really busy September. A stunning scenario, among the Aragonese hills, the facility was built in 2011, and it is one of the nicest and complete tracks of the whole calendar; famous spots are the “wall” behind the braking of turn 14, the “S” between turns 8 and 9 characterized by a high difference in altitude and the long downhill straight.

The asphalt of the Aragon circuit has recently been renovated, altering and complicating the conditions that the riders will find. A good tyre drop management will therefore be even more important in order to obtain positive results. Pirelli has brought a selection of “hard” tyres: the race will take place with the SC0, here with the standard and development solutions, while the qualifying will be with the SCX. After the excellent competitiveness proved in the Cremona round, Go Eleven and Andrea Iannone are at the start of round 10 with great confidence and with the awareness of taking the most from their potential. Fifteen days ago, on the same track, private tests were carried out that provided good indications to come ready for the race and try to obtain the best possible result. The characteristics of the track, very smooth and with many fast corners, are well suited to the strengths of the Ducati Panigale V4-R – Andrea Iannone duo.
