WORLDSBK CLASS 2025 STARTS FROM PHILLIP ISLAND!
The 2025 Superbike World Championship is getting ready to ignite its engines! With tests left behind, the sessions now become hot and the track will define the real values of the protagonists of the Superbike. Phillip Island, the theatre of spectacular races often decided by a few hundredths of a second, will be the opening scenario of the new season. Two long flag-to-flag races, with a mandatory pit stop between lap 9 and lap 11, will be an additional moment of suspense and will increase the spectacle on the track, adding an unknown factor.
Andrea Iannone and Team Go Eleven come at the first Round with a lot of motivation and energy derived from the good results obtained in the winter tests, both in Europe, where few days were available due to the adverse weather, and in the Shakedown on Monday and Tuesday here in Australia. In his debut year in WorldSBK, the number 29 obtained a podium and a fourth place at Phillip Island, proving how this fast and flowing track is among the favourites of the rider from Vasto. The Ducati Panigale prepared by Go Eleven has some new features compared to last season, which will be used all togeher starting from FP 1; furthermore, analyzing the test data, there are some areas to fix, especially in the central sectors, and some ideas to evaluate. On Friday it will be essential to find the right balance between set-up and electronics to be ready for Saturday morning.
