HOME ROUND; MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT HOSTS THE FIRST ITALIAN STAGE!

Misano World Circuit; Emilia – Romagna, the land of motorsport. When you go through the gates of the Circuit you feel at home. The first Italian Round of the 2024 WorldSBK season starts this weekend, from 14 to 16 June. From tomorrow the feeling inside the paddock will be electrifying, with many people expected over the three days; unique atmosphere, for the most awaited round of the year.

Team Go Eleven and Andrea Iannone are back once again at the Marco Simoncelli Circuit after two days of intense testing, which took place at the end of May. Even though the feeling wasn’t optimal, the desire to do well and put on a show is great. The technicians analyzed all the data collected and found new solutions with which to approach Friday sessions. Furthermore, Pirelli has brought two new tyre evolutions, one rear and one front, which will be evaluated and tested between FP 1 and FP 2. The rider number 29 is at his first home race after a long time, many fans will be on track for meet him; special are the emotion and joy of competing in front of your own fans. For the weekend, an important factor will be the temperatures, the sun and heat will make the grip on the track low and could put the tires in difficulty.

Andrea Iannone (Rider): 

“Although the sensations in last week’s tests weren’t so positive, I’m excited. Competing on this circuit, infront of the italian fans is one more reason to try to be competitive, since I haven’t raced at home for a long time. In recent days the team has had the opportunity to take the best out of the datas, we will do our best. I am happy to start this round in which Gigi Dall’Igna will also be there to support us!”
